Partners of the M² Program would be required to comply with the following criteria when developing their applications:

• Qualifying applications MUST be built on Microsoft’s .NET Framework or .NET Compact Framework for Windows Mobile.
• Participation in the program requires support of XML Web Service standards such as XML Schema 1.0, SOAP 1.1, WSDL 1.1 and UDDI 2.0
• Qualifying applications MUST be developed using Maxis’ network infrastructure and Mobile Web Services.
